Hi There!                 

 I’m Sheila, your baker! I come from a Dutch heritage and I LOVE Baking!!!

 In 2010, my husband was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. We were frustrated with the gluten free products that were available. The products that we tried tasted like cardboard, they were gritty and they were filled with all sorts of chemicals. Out of frustration I began a mission to create a great tasting bread that is also healthy to eat.

 In 2016 I lost my job as a general manager of a restaurant (they closed their doors). After numerous disappointments with the selection of jobs, I began to focus on creating that bread. This task didn’t come easy, but every failed attempt brought more research and education.

By the end of 2016 I finally did it! I had created a recipe without using soy or yeast and it worked!

 Since 2017, the business has grown to having several different types of bread that are unique to it’s own class. Each recipe is designed to help meet different food allergens, or dietary restrictions. I have opened up the spectrum to include a variety flour mixes and I've created a Vegan line of products as well as Dairy Free, and Keto.

 My family and I understand the frustrations that goes with having food allergens. We have first hand knowledge and experience at the disappointments. Since we create the flour mixtures and the recipes, we are able to adapt a recipe to the majority of requests.

 My hope is to be able to help other individuals and families just like us. To relieve the frustrations that goes with gluten free by having great tasting, healthy products that's convenient and easy to make.

 My joy comes from your enjoyment in the products. I love creating, and I love being challenged!

 Some of my favorite moments are:

~When I push the limits on a recipe and it comes out better than I expected!

~When someone who doesn't eat gluten free products has a reaction of "WOW!"

~When I get a message from someone and they are incredibly happy with their order! (I get tearful with this one sometimes)
